Vacation in Phoenix

We left of Friday and got to Albuquerque around 8pm. It was a fairly uneventful drive except the kids were like we hate it here and crying about driving for so long. We got settled in the Hotel and then went looking for food. We found this place called Blake’s Lotaburger when we were here the last time so we were again in search for one so I could get a Green Chili Lotaburger. Mmmm mmmm

I then left the family at the hotel and I went to the local casino to play some craps. Well in the first 15 minutes I lost $90 of my $100. I was like sad, but I flipped and made a few good decisions and ended up winning it all back and had my $100 back in hand. I kept playing and thought I would go through my roll. I did and lost $50 of the dollars on my rolling. I went through another roller and lost a bit more and left the table with a loss of $65. Okay for 2 hours of playing though I guess.

I head home and I get a text from the wife to pick up a few things. I did and then drove to the hotel. I got out of our car and grabbed all the stuff I needed to take to the room and headed up turning around just as I heard the doors click to lock realizing the keys were in the ignition. DAMN! Saturday I called a locksmith to come open our car. When it was all said and done it took him 10 minutes to get in and he charged me $120. That sucked. We finished our drive to Phoenix though all safe and sound.

I am looking at things online and decide to run the local St. Patrick’s Day run. I find one but I can’t find where the race is held at. So I find a phone number to a race director. I call her and apologize for calling at 8pm the night before the race. I explain I am just getting into town and want to run the race. She gives me all the information and directions and then says here is my cell phone number. Call me if you’re lost tomorrow and she looks forward to seeing me at the race. SEE more Sweet People.
